Granny Smith is a fresh and exciting project from the developers behind the famous Sprinkle game. This wild and energetic game tells the story of a grandmother who has stepped up to the extreme, putting on roller skates and chasing after boys who are stealing apples from her garden. The gameplay is hard to describe in just two words, as it combines the extreme action of a runner-platformer with arcade elements to create a truly chaotic and fun effect.
The grandmother on roller skates will skate through mountains, perform various tricks, break walls, and swing on ropes using her trusty hook. The main goal of this old lady at each level is to overtake the boys and collect apples. Players are also awarded points for performing different tricks, adding a layer of skill-based gameplay to the fast-paced action.
These points accumulate at the end of each stage, allowing players to see their total score and progress. The currency earned can be spent to upgrade the grandmother's abilities, giving players a sense of progression and customization. The game features simple controls, requiring players to manage the movement of the grandmother with just two buttons.
This makes it accessible for players of all skill levels, ensuring that anyone can jump in and start skating without a steep learning curve. The game boasts impressive graphics and an engaging musical backdrop, creating a unique atmosphere of small-scale chaos.
