Now, in 2055, the remnants of humanity have retreated deep underground into the former USA. The survivors have fled the horrors of the surface, seeking refuge in the damp, dark tunnels of the metro system. Here, subway stations have become tiny flames of life, representing the last breaths of a once-great civilization.
Year after year, people struggle to survive, clustering in groups and clinging to the shards of their lost world. However, the peace is fragile. After six years of living in the subway, more travelers are returning from the tunnels, spreading rumors of horrible creatures filling the subways.
Marauders run rampant in the darkness of the passages, cannibals prey on people like wild game, and entire station-towns are silenced forever. This is a real survival experience where you must prepare for an adventure in a shattered world. The infected have re-activated, and the human factions of the subway are torn apart by feuds and power struggles.
