Occupation is a fantastic third-person shooter set in a near future where a corporation has successfully implemented cryogenic freezing on a select group of people. However, after the thawing process is completed, the participants of the experiment begin to behave aggressively, resembling zombies in their hostile actions. This sets the stage for a tense and atmospheric survival experience that blends sci-fi elements with classic action gameplay.
The main protagonist must navigate through the territory of his hometown village, where a bloody confrontation awaits him. As you explore the environment, you will encounter these former neighbors turned enemies, requiring quick reflexes and strategic thinking to survive. The setting provides a unique backdrop for the intense combat scenarios that define the core loop of the game.
Your character will need to do more than just destroy opponents to progress through the story. You must also locate and rescue a young woman who was kidnapped by the evil boss. This adds a layer of narrative depth and urgency to your missions, as you balance combat efficiency with the goal of rescuing the hostage.
The game offers a compelling mix of exploration and action, challenging players to adapt to the unpredictable behavior of the zombie-like subjects. With its distinct visual style and engaging plot, Occupation delivers a memorable experience for fans of the genre.
