As you explore, you will encounter three distinct types of finds that add depth to the gameplay. Beacons are common items placed in the areas you have revealed, while Shards are rare, personal items that exist as a single copy just for you.
The most elusive are Veins, which are very rare and appear worldwide without an exact position known in advance, offering only a directional glow. These are captured on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning once another player secures one, it is gone for everyone, adding a layer of excitement and competition to your exploration. This system ensures that every discovery feels unique and valuable.
Progression in Unfog is tracked through a comprehensive collection system that records every capture with a date stamp.
