This application allows users to calculate volumes, remember what and when was injected, and provides reminders for scheduled doses. Everything operates directly on your phone without the need to create an account, log in, or send data to a server.
Key features of Pinly include a conversion calculator that lets you input the contents of a vial and the amount of added bacteriostatic water, calculating concentration, dose counts, and units for insulin syringe filling. The app alerts you when a dose won't fit in one set or when there is too little left in the vial. Each vial retains its level, mixing date, and expiration date after conversion.
Users can see how much is left and how many doses it covers. With protocols and reminders, you can set days and times for your injections, and Pinly will remind you accordingly. Reminders can be postponed or confirmed immediately.
The app also maintains an injection history with dates, doses, and locations, which can be exported to a CSV file. Pinly automatically counts supplies such as syringes, needles, and cotton swabs with each recorded injection, notifying you before they run out. A peptide database is included, featuring cards with descriptions, typical doses, and expiration dates post-mixing for reference.
Users can track their progress with weight and notes over time on a single graph alongside their injection history. While all features are available for free, the Pinly Pro subscription enhances convenience and style with accent colors, custom notification styles, a home screen widget, dosage increase charts, expense summaries, and injection site rotation maps protected by a PIN. Privacy is paramount; data related to vials, injection history, weight, and notes are stored solely on your device without accounts or server uploads, ensuring no ads or analytics are present.
