Velvet Voice is a unique communication application designed for those who prefer to connect through the power of sound rather than visual appearance. In this app, your voice becomes your primary identity and personal brand. Unlike traditional social networks where users scroll through endless feeds of faces, Velvet Voice encourages you to focus on the essence of the person you are talking to.
You can choose a pseudonym, record a short voice greeting, and create a miniature portrait instead of a standard photo profile. This approach helps people get to know each other by listening to your voice and reading your words, filtering out superficial judgments based on looks. The application is ideal for individuals seeking authenticity, security, and deep conversations.
When you use Velvet Voice, you record a voice greeting and send it to users you wish to meet. If a person responds with their own voice, a dialogue opens up. Text communication becomes available only after both sides have heard each other, which prevents situations where someone writes to an unknown person whose words might not be fully understood.
The "Discover" feature shows people nearby, allowing your voice to travel openly, while the "Send in a Pocket" function sends your voice to a random recipient who might hear it later. You have full control over who hears you. Your voice can be private, and others must request permission before listening.
